Within seconds of snapping a photo of an insect, uploading the photo to this site, I have an identity and real scientific information about the insect that stopped by to “visit”! This is also a great way for our grandkids to learn about insects. They love it.

We live in a somewhat wooded area and I use this app weekly and sometimes daily. Not only does it provide the necessary information to keep our family safe, but it’s also been a wonderful tool to teach my girls about nature. Instead of screaming and running away from some of the crazy bugs we see, they now go to the app and want to see what it is. I’m so grateful that it’s taken some of their fear away. I recommend this app all the time!!

This app is able to identify any type of bug It can also do just certain parts of a bug for example I found a wing outside of my house I had used this app to see what it was from and the wing was from a Swamp cicada and I looked into it and it looks the exact same as a Swamp cicada wing so it is for sure a Swamp cicada wing😎

I’ve been tricked 2 times into purchasing your app for a year. Apple is so resourceful I think it’s apple that’s decides to pick a one year plan for a low income senior, then it takes me months to get over it. I know one things for sure I’ve never choose a year for any app and I found out today it’s not legal for money to be taken from my acct without my authorization. There are very few apps I’d need to have longer than the free trial. But unless I choose to keep the app and check mark for one year apple can’t legally go in and take the money. In your situation I’ve been taken for the money because I forgot to delete it not because I choose to keep it. If it’s in my power I will file against apple just for the money they’ve taken and led me to believe it was right. I’m a senior I forget sometimes but I never choose weekly, monthly or yearly. Anyone who will give me my money back I won’t list for the lawyer and if I forgot it you’d have proof for court you paid it back. But appearing in court for taking from a senior isn’t something I’d want to advertise my business with. Anna

I was not going to renew my premium membership, until my two granddaughters came to visit. And my six-year-old granddaughter is a total bug lover, and won me over with her enthusiasm and love of bugs! So I decided to keep the app in order to identify her book collection :-)

i really like this app when i’m out hiking & i spot an interesting bug. it comes in handy, but i do have a recommendation! for bugs that make audible and distinct sounds, a button should be added to play the insect’s noise to hear what it sounds like.
