I have been doing this for several days now and feel like maybe I have gotten in j on ver my head with something that will possibly not have a good payout to time ratio but we shall see…

I have been a subscriber for 22 days. I decided I would try the $25 subscription. Just to see, if I would break even on my $25 initial investment. As of this writing the current ratio from COIN to XYO is 1,000 COIN = 83 XYO XYO currently costs $0.0055 (Coinbase) To break even I would need 4,456 XYO Or 377,272 COIN (4556 XYO * 83 COIN) That would be a daily average of 12,575 for 30 days. I’ve spent several hours on this app a day. Active use is 2.5 hours a day according to screen time. I’ve tried: playing games the games, surveys, geoclaim, and driving. The Geoclaim I’ve only lost coin, don’t even try that. I have never came close to getting 10% of the COIN I paid for. The amount of information you give up, compared to the benefits you get is not worth it. It’s cheaper, and easier (safer) to just buy XYO. So, what do you give up? I’m the terms of use, by using the app. You give them permission to see EVERYTHING. If you read a text, check your bank, watch 😉something. Everything you see on your screen, they get to see too. You give up your real time location. I read these before I started using them. Nearly every app does that already. You should really read the terms. You’ll be surprised what you give up. Thanks for reading. This app has a long ways to go before it’s actually beneficial for the average user. *All numbers were rounded to the nearest whole number.

I, too, opted in for the free SentinelX NFC just for paying shipping, but…I was a bit smarter, and noticed that it forces you to sign up for a Pro subscription. I immediately found the subscription in my account’s web portal, and deactivated the recurring billing. If others noticed this, they would’ve gotten it without paying for the subscription. But it doesn’t end there. I recently made a discovery that XY Labs is using Private APIs in their COIN app to circumvent the iOS System Volume features. On speakerphone? Others may hear the ads. Trying to use Apple’s background sounds accessibility feature to sleep through the ads? The app’s Private APIs won’t let you do that, and they force the ads to play louder than the background sounds. Now don’t get me wrong, but I love this geo-mining concept. (I’m trying to save for a Nintendo Switch OLED Model, by the way.) The only problem is that the noisy ads have deprived me several days of sleep, which is why I’d wish they would stop using the Private APIs in favor of Public APIs, which are the only APIs allowed in iOS apps. Please, XY Labs! If you’re reading this, it’s not too late to fix this. I’m giving you the chance to correct this issue before I ask Apple engineers to pull this app from the App Store.

Paid $0.95 for them to send me a card with the NFC. A week later it’s trying to charge me $35 to my card. They call themselves “the persistent company”. Honestly seems like a bunch of fake reviews to make you think it’s worth something. If you must play this so called “game” best NOT give them any payment info. I hear it’s nearly impossible to get support for any type of refunds.
