    this is a great app. really. it does everything I want it to do. and it's very easy to use. the only thing I REALLY don't like is that they cover up the avatar during rest periods so you only see the timer. I agree the timer is important, but on new exercises, I want to check the avatar to see if I'm doing things right while I rest. I cannot do that. big negative. and there are several things they could do to fix it. also, they should add more kettle bell exercises and allow more input into goals.

    Do not buy this product. The only thing you gain is a 45 sec timer between sets. This app is not smart by any means and just repeats itself over and over. Don’t make the mistake of buying this, thinking you getting an actual program or something tailored to you.
  • Make Improvements or Lose Customers

    I’ve been using this app for 4 years. The algorithm for determining exercise and weight is amazing, and I love the functionality. It is catered to the user, and that’s great. That being said, there is no excuse for the poor performance of the software, which I am going to generously call half-baked. The app crashes habitually, fails to save logged reps on Apple Watch, takes 5-6 tries to open (assuming it doesn’t blackscreen and close itself out) and I can tolerate all of these things If the developers did not charge $89.99 a year for an app that barely works. I should not be spending 5-10 minutes of my valuable workout time sitting on gym equipment trying to make your finicky app work because you can’t release simple software patches. You do not get paid by your loyal customer base to release products that do not work. Have accountability for your product and fix these issues that have been plaguing your product for YEARS. This is a great idea and I love this app (when it works.) Frankly I’m sick of paying this dev money just to encounter the same problems I’ve been seeing since 2019. Stop making it so hard to support you.
  • Great for people not wanting to plan a routine

    This app allows beginners, and those not sure how to create a routine, to have consistency and ease in a gym. In my time using this app I have already seen results. A critique I have is when changing to the different types of objectives, the plans to appear to change. The weights remain the same even though the rest times increase or decrease. If I am looking to do calorie burning and the rest time decreases there is no way for me to continue doing the same weights. Weights need to adjust to rest time and people can then increase them if they are too light.

  • Crushing my workouts at home for a fraction of the cost of a trainer!

    I just started using this after working out a year with a trainer 3x per week at a local gym. Felt I knew enough about safe lifting to do this on my own with the help of something automated and found this app. Love that it allows you to swap out exercises you aren’t comfortable doing with a variety of other alternatives so I don’t feel like I’m failing. I’m 56 years old, stronger than ever and happy to be keeping up my strength routine at home with Fitness AI!!

    I really liked this app. I liked that it gives you the best plan for you based on the questions that they ask you at the beginning. The app was easy to use and everything was labeled and easy to find. Something that might make this app better would be to not make you have to pay money to get the best version or to be able to track your progress. -lauren santy
