  • This app is a joke. Most of the time I can’t view the cameras despite a great internet connection.

Even when I see a notification about a recorded event, it can take days for the video to show up on the app. Worthless. Also: read about their terrifying security record.
  • Still no playback fix

    By NickofSpades
Another update and still no fix for the playback bug that removed events from the app.
  • Bad changes - still not fixed.

Downgrading to 1-star because it’s been months & this issue hasn’t been resolved. It severely reduces the app’s functionality. Please test features thoroughly before release. Original review: 1) clip-deletion confirmation message completely blocks the top area, meaning it blocks access to the date/calendar buttons & other buttons. To switch to a different date, or perform some other functions, one has to wait for the deletion confirmation message to disappear. This stuff needs to be tested before release. Please fix this. Move the confirmation message so it doesn’t block core buttons in the app (duh!).

***poof gone*** I’m not sure what happened but when looking at live works good but when you switch to playback my app isn’t showing nothing and doesn’t show any recordings when I have about 100 every day. This feature is completely missing! What is going on? ***also going on while checking on some videos from a few months ago it is not showing any videos! If I look at the calendar it shows blue dots because there is supposed to be a video or two there but app isn’t showing nothing! THE WHOLE POINT OF VIDEO SURVEILLANCE IS BEING ABLE TO CHECK PREVIOUS RECORDINGS!!! Such crappy recent app updates 😢
  • 24x7 playback broken for months

    By peelnout
Since an update some months ago, 24x7 playback is essentially broken. Fix the yellow playback feature already. It’s got to be one of the most basic, yet important features. Stop working on new devices and fix what we already have.
  • Love it !!

    Best way
  • Not the best app

I live the cameras but the app needs work . The events tab that the recordings are viewed is almost never updated automatically and has to be manually updated (sometimes multiple times ) before it shows any recorded events . Even when you know there are recordings due to people coming and going when you go to the events tab it doesn’t show any events . You have to refresh several times before anything shows up . If this problem is fixed the system would be great but currently it’s easy to miss the recordings due to not showing up automatically . Again refreshing once usually doesn’t cut it and need to do it over and over till events clips show up. Very frustrating . For the record I have the latest app version on the latest cell phone .
  • Great App

    Great app. Very user friendly.
  • Massive connectivity issue

    By 7612zdr
Since last update I’m having huge issues. Live video or saved alerts both play about 1-2 seconds before having the spinning buffering and ending with “retry” or “feedback” buttons. I tried feedback and went through most of the process but even that is broken- once you get 1 screen down the keyboard prevents the rest of the form from being available. You can’t minimize the keyboard and you can’t scroll further down where I assume there is a submit button. I’ve restarted doorbell 3x to no avail. Never had any issue until this most recent update. Please fix asap.
  • Ok, back to 1 star…

    By WickedGirl33
3/19/23: ok, latest update has caused floodlight cameras to stop loading properly again. Back to 1 star. 3/3/23: For now, the app appears to be loading video from the Floodlight Cams at a decent speed again. Live viewing is much better. But, Eufy has broken trust with me over the firmware and app updates that made my Floodlight Cams useless for a month! I had to buy new devices from another brand because I have to be able to monitor my mom’s house, immediately, no exceptions. There will be no 4 or 5 star ratings from me again until I see these cameras working flawlessly for quite a few months. And by flawlessly, I mean no app or firmware updates are a direct cause of a failure or problem. If any of you are still having issues, try these steps, all of them: 1) uninstall the app (Do NOT delete the cameras from the app prior to uninstalling the app and make sure your camera LEDs are set to “On” before you delete your app) 2) reboot your phone or tablet 3) power cycle the camera(s) if you can 4) reinstall the app once the cameras are back on 5) reboot your phone or tablet 6) open the app and sign back in if needed, then see if you are good to go.
