  • Helps Guide Me to Public Water

I have only been using it for about a month but have found it quite useful in excluding trips to small creeks with limited or no public access. On the other hand, it has drawn my attention to a few blue line creeks that had heretofore slipped under my radar. The ability to put private notes at a certain location (such as what worked under what conditions) or drawing lines on maps to mark routes and trails more boldly is a great tool for later trips. A lot of thought has gone into how to make this useful for fisherfolk. Kudos to the creators.

After identifying new streams on my laptop, used TroutRoutes App to guide me to the exact point of entry. No more wandering around.

If you fish for trout, you’re behind the power curve if you’re not using TroutRoutes!

This app is one of my all time favorites to use, it’s so easy to find little hidden fishing spots that people don’t go to. The fact that the fishing regulations are available based on what stream you select is one of the best features about this app in my opinion. You can find small trails, primitive camp sites, and small honey holes. Paying for the entire year is a bit steep, but I’m still rating 5 stars. 👍🏽

So far the app has been very helpful with parking, and access areas. Still having a difficult time, locating drift access, and departure? Not sure if I'm using all the filters correctly? I will most likely need to go on YouTube, in hopes of finding the best approach.

This app is everything I would want in a Trout fishing app, and nothing that gets in the way. Why isn’t Alaska included?

I love this app but if the subscription rate goes up any more I will stop using the pro version.

Was disappointed to not see trails to ponds in the Adirondack mountains. If all you do is stream fish might not be bad

I was looking forward to using this app. I did know going that if I wanted to use the full spectrum of this app that I’d have to pay for it. What I did not know is that I would not be able to use it at all without paying for it. I can’t get past the ad where it tells you “all the benefits of Pro”. Why can’t I look through the app to see if I actually want to use it or not before paying?
