  • I’m back!

    By mrs.vogrich
I have used the app for a couple of weeks now. I still enjoy the app, but I have also improved my suggestions. -Allow a setting to set ambient temperature of house. -Allow option to edit schedule manually. -Allow an option to compare progress photos. Create albums of each plant’s photos. -Update “In 3 Days” to “Tuesday, January 5” -Allow an option for hybrid plants? Thank you for all you do!
  • Not what a wanted

I wanted an app that provided care tips when your plants weren’t thriving. This isn’t it. I just wasted $$.
  • Great app, one feature suggestion

    By Drock_Dude123
I love Planta! I use it for all my houseplants that I’ve started to care for and every single one of them has thrived so much since I started using it. I also absolutely love the premium tasks and I think they’re very worthwhile if you have a lot of different plants with different needs to take care of. One feature I think would be really cool is the option to update plant size when doing the monthly progress update. I don’t know about other planta users but since I started using the app, many of my plants have been growing really well, and sometimes I forget to update the size of the plant to make sure they’re getting proper care, especially for young plants that are growing a lot from month to month. Just something to think about
  • Not able to identify plants

    By ckugrad
Purchased this app two days ago to help with my myriad of succulents, orchids and potted plants. It was not able to identify my variegated jade plant, which as soon as I posted on a sight I am on, it was immediately identified. It was also not able to identify my yucca plant nor my rose-sinensis double bloom peach hibiscus. I’m having better luck searching the web. Which was one reason I bought this app- to help me identify what I have. I bought the annual subscription and will definitely cancel when it is up.

DEVELOPERS: Please add an option to add a reminder that the user can fill in themselves and set for a future date. For instance, when treating for pests, these treatments often have to be repeated and applied at certain intervals e.g. using Bonide Systemic every 8 weeks, etc. All that is currently an available option in the app is to classify your plant as “sick” with no option to create a reminder to treat again or set a future date. We need options to fill in a note with our own text and then to be able to set several it reminders for a future date. Additionally, many plant enthusiasts mix their own soil. So it would be absolutely wonderful to be able to be able to have an option to customize the soil mixture, i.e., 1 part potting soil, 1 part orchid bark, 1 part perlite, etc. since the soil effects the watering schedule. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this app and use the premium version. This makes caring for my 49 plants SO much easier! I can’t imagine doing it without this app and I am absolutely thrilled to have it. Also, the privacy is a concern. For those that use the paid version, we shouldn’t have to be subject to data mining. ALSO WANT TO ADD: look how amazing these developers are being so responsive and accepting input from it’s users! This is why this app will be the top app for plant enthusiasts!!!
  • Please Update

    By corduroix
Looks like the plant count is now missing. It used to tell me how many plants I had in my collection and now it’s gone. Pleas update!
  • I have a green thumb now? 🤔

    By BrotherBeals
I have some pretty severe ADHD and that has made it hard to commit to caring for my plants. I have done everything from overwatering to completely forgetting about my plants. This app has made it easy to keep track of my plants so I don’t neglect them! This app has even given me the confidence to buy more plants. It’s turned into a very zen morning routine. I really enjoy checking off the list every morning and getting that all important dopamine. This app has transformed me from plant killer to green thumb! One suggestion, please add support for in-ground plants.
  • Charged for a year

    By Mrs.cupid(chalulu)(chalena)
I was charged for the yearly subscription for this app without my knowledge they charged my card they’re yearly fee. Which 1. I didn’t sign up for 2. I was charged for it and 3. I can’t even access my account anymore and the app says there is not an account that matches my login info. This is a $35 dollar charge from apple. I either want full access to this app considering I paid for a years subscription OR I want to be fully reimbursed for this transaction. I will be contacting my bank to discuss contesting this charge. On your part I suggest being more informative to when/ how much/ how long these subscriptions last.
  • New update and overwatering

    By Abyydarling
I have been using this app to help manage my 80+ plants. However, lately my plants have been constantly coming up as needing to be watered even if I just completed or skipped the task the previous day. Yes, plants require more water in warmer months, but not every day or every other day. If you aren’t aware and is constantly following the Planta watering schedule, you can easily kill some of your plants. I believe this may be a bug with the new update. Planta, can you please address the overwatering issue? This app used to be very useful, now it’s almost impossible to follow.
  • Great, just one thing

    By sundayforstars
It’s great & I’ve been using it a long time. The only issue I have is that when you do a progress update now, you HAVE TO add a description & photo. I don’t have time to do all that so I just have to skip it. Before you could rate it & be done. Also… where does that info go anyway?
