I want to like this app but it spontaneously crashes more than any app I have. It's been like this for years and every update including 2.0.28 doesn't get it corrected. Disappointing...

Why update an app that has been cancelled? Or about to be soon

Unexpectedly stop playing and crashes when screen is asleep/multi tasking on other apps even if they don’t use sound.

So I like podcasts like the next guy. I watch a lot of them as well as listen. I would like video podcasts added.

Would crash frequently on startup and was very finicky when trying to play podcasts in the background.

Even with updates this has quickly gone from my favorite to my least favorite app. The app closing a minute to every playback is quite annoying. I’ve started listening to all of my podcast on Spotify instead. Playback stops when screen goes idle causing you to have to wake up your phone and press play over and over. Many playback errors. Podcast stops if you go into another app while listening.
  • Literally stopped working overnight

Yesterday I was able to hear my podcasts play with my ringer on silent, with my phone screen off, and open in the background while I used other apps. Suddenly this morning all of that stopped working. Doesn’t matter if the iPhone speakers are playing or if I’m casting to an external device. Now if I want to listen to a podcast I literally can’t use my phone for anything else while doing so. Absolute trash app.

  • Broken for private RSS feeds

The iOS version doesn’t remember where you left off or what you’ve listened to on private RSS feeds. (Android version doesn’t have the issue and works fine.) Makes this program useless if you use any private RSS feeds… and private RSS feeds haven’t even been implemented on YouTube music yet. Typical Google behavior where they are killing off one product and moving to another and yet haven’t even reached feature parity. (And probably never will) Time for me to look for an alternative … again. Google, you suck….
