  • App Crashes

    The idea behind the app is great. There is however painful crashes in videos while playing. Also, the watchapp cannot sync well and from time to time won’t finish the exercise. It is recommended that app can be used fully offline. Watchapp too shows more info like and works more smoothly.

    I have the paid version, something disappointing for body building is the muscle building plan, there is not like a plan or change on the routines, always the same movements. Same routines, same exercise ( unless you change it for self guided) I would like to see to see different plans for full gym like resistance, definition muscle, bulking etc…i regret not to research more before to pay the full year. It looks like a better application for women or people looking for general conditioning. They need to add more routines and organize full gym exercise by goals
  • Best And Most Supportive Workout App on the Market

    I have been a Centr member since 2019 and I have yet to get bored from the workouts. Not only that, but the recipes are delicious and balanced. I love that the program does not preach any health fads but sticks to healthy, nutritious living. I am wheat free due to health conditions and each and every one of their recipes are either naturally wheat free or can easily be altered to be wheat free. I love the challenges they design multiple times a year and of course, their super supportive and welcoming online Facebook community. It is cheaper than a gym membership and more motivating then trying to wing workouts day to day, which can be discouraging and time consuming. I just want to be told what to do when it comes to my workouts and Centr delivers.
  • Great content, but A LOT of work to be done on user experience

    I absolutely love the content that’s on the Centr app - the workouts, the programs, the recipes, the meditations. I’ve definitely gained great value from the workouts and recipes. However, there is A LOT of work to be done to improve the user experience in the app. I have a running note of all of the things I feel this app needs to make it “keep worthy” for the long run and I won’t share them all here, but TLDR I think it would do Centr a huge benefit to run some focus groups and user testing of which I would be more than happy to be part of. I’m also curious as to how often the app is updated - and I’m not talking about the content because I did notice some new content got added recently. I’m talking about updating the basic functionalities of the app. Most recently, the workouts that I’ve completed in the Centr Power: Beginner program have not been marking themselves as completed and I’ve also lost the ability to manually mark them as complete on the weekly program pages. I did end up subscribing to a year of Centr because that’s how much I really love the content, but it’s basic things like what I described above that cause me to NOT recommend this app to others. PLEASE take the time to improve the app so that is consumers can continue to benefit from it and improve our overall wellness and our lives.

    1: when I’m in the middle of a workout if I get a text or a call the workout reverts to the beginning 2: Centr is not sending my calories to apples health so I have to set my watch to regular workout in order to register my calories burned Love the workouts!!

  • Not great for beginners

    If you already have an established baseline or it hasn’t been a significant amount of time since you were consistently active then this app will probably work well for you. I’m not a complete beginner, but found even the yoga workouts entirely too difficult to complete without a significant number of modifications. The meal plans were just ok. I found myself having to switch out just about every meal. Some of the recipes were decent, but many were pretty bland. I wanted to love this app since it had workouts and meal plans all in one, but it just missed the mark for me.
  • Even better than you think it ill be

    This app pulls no punches. follow the planner or participate in the many programs faithfully and you will see results. The food is shockingly tasty and gives people a good base to create healthy meals going forward. Very sustainable, you never feel deprived. Lastly, no time consuming commitments, this is great for busy lives. Highly recommend. Been at it for about 15 months.
