    Had to write this review, excellent game that keeps you engaged consistently, they run so many events it can be a little overwhelming but I appreciate the variety and consistent changes to keep players engaged. I’m still “Pre 53” (level lower than 53) but from what I’ve experienced it’s been very fun, it’s not just about crafting items but also leveling hero’s and sending them on quests to get items you need. My favorite part is there’s no PvP to stress you out and make you reach for your wallet, a lot of these games are designed to do that, ego spending is awful in some games, but this game has nothing like it. You can spend of course and it helps significantly, but you do not have to which is great. Once again this is all “Pre 53 level” so i’m not sure what changes there yet, but it’s been a lot of fun, even if i drop it after 53 it’s still been good up til.

    When you log in on a new device, a new account is automatically created with a new User ID. That means that if I have a Steam Account (which doesn’t have Game Center, because it’s an Apple product) and I try to play the game on my computer it will make a new account. For a few months now I’ve been playing on that account and uninstalled it from my phone because that’s the device I want to play on. My hard drive went out a few days ago and I can no longer play on my computer. So I redownloaded on my phone hoping I could somehow recover the account or at least start over. Instead, the only option is to have your account deleted in 30 days. I went ahead and did that and then messaged Customer Service to see if I could either recover my old account or have this one deleted sooner. Four days later, just now, I finally get a response and the representative stating that he’s going to ban all the accounts and put a permanent trade ban and subtract 2500 gems from all my accounts because apparently I’m in violation of their terms for having more than one account in a PVE game and on different types of devices. I responded that I wasn’t trying to have more than one account and that I didn’t know how to make one account go across different devices and I don’t appreciate being threatened when asking for help. He didn’t respond, so I did. I will not be back to the game, thanks specifically to Rob in Montreal. I’ve never spent a dime in the game and thanks to him I’ll never have the chance. The game itself is a lot of fun, but if you want to play a game that treats its customers like that, then shame on you.

    Member for over 3 years and hundreds of dollars invested. Kabam has changed the game play…NO LONGER FUN. Not sure if it’s management decision making or AI response to game play, but the game has changed. Can not recommend this anymore. On a positive note, the graphics are wonderful.

  • Predatory levels of monetization.

    The game itself is fine, but at least 4 of the production characters are behind a 20$(19.99) paywall. You can get the things they made in the market but usually only using the games “gems” which is itself difficult to acquire outside of paying roughly 10 dollars for a minuscule amount. Without the predatory monetization the game would be great with the amount of customization you can achieve with your shopkeeper and adventurers. Better classes are locked behind a level wall, and some of them require the paylocked equipment to be efficiently fielded.

    I’ve played this game on off for the last two or maybe even more years. Only times I’ve ever even stopped is just switching to a new phone or something like that. This game is one of the best! You’re not forced to pay to play and progress while you can pay to get extras you’re not forced to in order to function. Anyone that downloads this game will not regret it

    I remember when I first played this, it wasn’t that good. I only said this because my battery would be chugged away in minutes. Now I’m having a lot of fun coming back after not playing for like, 2 years. Now my battery can handle the game. I’m still restarting though. (Because well, I completely forgot what was going on and how to play.) All in all it’s a great game and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get it. P.S. I love the pets, they’re adorable!!

    I started playing this game, and I liked how smooth it was so I decided to go for the VIP experience. Even though the game recognizes that I have paid for the VIP, it will not allow me to claim VIP chests. I contacted Support and they told me I may have to wait up to 12 hours before I’m able to claim anything and will not be compensated for the inability to claim VIP chests over the course of those 12 hours. They asked for proof of purchase which I provided and they told me that that did not qualify as their proof and that they would not be able to see it on there end from Apple for a number of days so the best thing to do is just wait. I essentially spent money and then got told don’t play the game for the next 12 hours or more until your VIP experience activates if you want the full benefits and there’s nothing we can do about it.
