  • Simple and it does what I want it to

    By vacuum sealed
I don't just import recipes (but I think you can if you want). I like to type in each one. I've tried like 3 other recipe apps and they all have pre-determined drop down menus or auto-spell features that drive me insane. I don't want to talk like an app, I want the app to talk like me. THIS one is intuitive, and does only what I want it to. Plus, I can export/share with my family wherever they live.
  • Will not sync

    By SeeCret ShopR
I used the free version, then upgraded on my iPhone so I could access across all devices. My desktop will not sync and is asking me to pay again to access what is on my phone app. Is this a glitch or is it a scam?
  • Fantastic!

I LOVE this recipe software. It's intuitive and has all the features I would want. It's also great that it's cloud based so I can use it on my Mac and my iPhone. It works as it shoud, no problems. The one time I did have a small issue support got back to me prompty and had a quick fix. Get this app, my fellow baking and cooking nerds!
  • My favorite app

    By MarySkip
I started using Recipe Keeper when it was free. I soon realized I needed to store more recipes so I bought it for $9.99, and it's worth every penny. When I purchased iMac I had to but RK again, but this time it was far more expensive. What's up with that? I updated so I can use Recipe Keeper on all my devices. It was so worth the few extra dollars to make the most perfect recipe storage for me. I love to cook and try new recipes. Now I can have all my favorites in one place. I saw a recipe in the newspaper, searched for it in the app and saved it on the spot. I Love, love, love Recipe Keeper. I purchased this app when I realized I had far too many recipes to continue with the free version. It is without a doubt my favorite app. I go to it and key in an ingredient and plan my meals based on food on hand and recipes in the app. I love it. I have recipes on the iPad and iPhone and they are shareable. My trouble comes when I want to access those old recipes on my newer iMac. The program asks me to purchase the app again and I don't want to. I just want to link recipes from one device to the other two. Will you please advise me how to make this happen? I will be the happiest Recipe Keeper user. thank you. I gave you five stars based on the great app. I will wait to give you mores stars based on the ability to share recipes. thank you.

This is so much more convenient that needing to look up my favorite recipes that are scattered all over the place. It's easy to incorporate recipes from websites that you like.
  • Love It

Transferring all my best and modified and third party receipes to this app. Easily accessed with sync capabilites to iphone, ipad, and mac studio. Serving size change automatically changes ingredient amounts, and the ratios work great.
  • Maybe I've over looked something??

Timers and recipes go hand in hand. I paid for RecipeKeeper Pro to use with Alexa. It seems that when RecipeKeeper is open, Alexa can't do anything else, i.e. measurement conversion and set timers. Really disappointing. Also, each time Recipe Keeper opens, it starts with instructions on how to find recipes. I got it after the first time. Can that be turned off!
  • I love this app

This app is easy to use and intuitive. It doesn't always fit my large iMac screen well, it's too wide for some reason and I have to scroll back and forth. When actually cooking I usually print the recipe anyway which it does beautifully. I like snapping a pic of the finished dish and attaching it to the recipe for next time.
  • Use it almost daily

This is one of the best apps I've ever purchased, and for what I wanted in a recipe keeper, I don't think there is any other app out there that can beat it. I highly recommend it. I'm using the Pro version.
  • The Best!

I did a ton of research and landed on Recipe Keeper. It does an amazing job of scanning my collection of recipies, written and clippings. I rarely have to make corrections. It is also an amazing way to enter all of my favorite website recipies. When adding Pinterest recipies, I search the exact recipe and have not problem transferring it into Recipe Keeper. It has a shopping list and meal planning function. You can also share recipies. It is worth every penny to be able to search recipies on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. Note: If you are scanning in a recipe from a picture that has two colums of ingredients (or directions), highlight the first column, add it to the section, then highlight the second column, add it to the section as an addition (instead of replacement). It works great.
