    Maybe there's other apps out there that perform this and other features, but for simply RDPing into another desktiop, this one works great. I do software devleopment and sometimes I just need Visual Studio for Windows to debug APIs - very little lag even across the internet, and this app is low overhead.

    It works pretty well most of the time. Occasionally reconnects with a black screen only, at which point you have to quit and restart, then reconnect. Occasionally requires a force quit. But it doesn't hinder work.

    Remote Desktop lets me use my Mac at home as if it's my Windows machine at work (over a VPN, of course). The only way that it's not a perfect replication of my work environment is that the print-screen key doesn't work. It's as good as a remote desktop from one Windows machine to another. At work, I have two monitors and at home, only one -- Remote Desktop always handles that correctly. In theory, it can be used to connect to Linux, but I've never been able to make that work.

    Very slow getting starteand not consistant, most times the first attempt times out after 5-8 minutes

    Just keep it remote desktop, I'm sure the windows app is going to require a microsoft account. As a techie, I'm not a fan of this practice!

    platform is unrealiable and always goes to "sleep" when changing back and forth between interfaces. Resulting in force quitting Desktop about 10 times a day.

    Everything is slow, everything is cludgy. PDF's Moving/deleting things off my desktop Its made work that would normally happen in 2-3 minutes take 5-10 minutes because of how slow it is.

    After upgrade of the latest version, the remoted pc can't be connected anymore, which all the port are opened after verification.
