So how many other apps would I need in order to make use of THIS app that I also don’t need but am forced to download by Microsoft to “have access” to my work calendar?

I love edge as my preferred browser but it won’t allow me to log in with my personal Microsoft account. After spending over an hour being bounced between apple and Microsoft support reps, I was told this app is only able to be logged in with work or organization accounts. Why???? That seems pointless and incredibly frustrating very disappointed I can’t sync my data
  • Use Google, Edge is poor

Microsoft has to bribe its users to use their poor product with points. Then they don’t allow all their users to redeem points earned, or even give points to something like St Jude’s. Ask me how I know, I have over 20+ customer support inquiries in right now, of which no one can explain. Just save yourself time & effort, use Google.

Okay, so I wasn’t too enthusiastic about Edge, and Bing, or should I say I didn’t think that I’d use it. However I’ve found myself reinstalling the app every time I’ve tried to uninstall it and use Safari. Don’t get me wrong Safari is great, however if you want a more engaging browser then Edge is better for you, Copilot makes it a truly enjoyable experience. Bings app and Edges app are both so helpful, and are really useful when you need quick summaries thanks to Bing Chat and Copilot as said before.
  • Lack of functions

My phone used Edge to participate in a webinar, by default, and I was able to download lecture related pdf following the session. The program saved it in its own download folder and there is no way to share, print, or export. There are no buttons or anything to allow me to send the material to another device, it is now just stuck on my phone for use. The seminar had significant issues with loading properly and buffering. I verified it wasn’t a connection issue, it’s just a program issue. It’s another example of Microsoft trying to replicate other programs functionality but just fails.

I enjoy edge even on my iPad but still missing some simple features that the android version has like the advanced options under appearance settings for dark mode.

Would be my go to browser for everything if they allowed extensions/add ons on mobile devices. From what I've read online most seem to agree, unfortunately. I'll check back in a year, I guess.
