  • Good selection, bad app

    I really like the selection of titles and the price is totally fair. The app, however, is mediocre. They really need to add +/- 10 second controls, and a “next episode” button. It been 2 years since an update, so it’s anyone’s guess what the developers have been doing all that time. I only use this app if the title isn’t available anywhere else, which is rare.

    App while finally back in store after missing is as flawed as ever, and even worse than before. Having to take 5 extra steps for every single episode you wish to watch is so frustrating it’s become an absolute disaster hassle asinine flabbergasting over priced toilet floater that’s on the market for anime fans. If they ever get around to fixing I would change review but since the issues are close to year old that they will most likely never be fixed!!!

    Not able to play any content, with a paid subscription. Issue persisted on both my cellphone and the tv smart streaming device. $$ should be refunded, this is theft
  • Terrible UI

    The only thing this app has going for it in comparison to other video entertainment apps is that it saves the show you are watching. Literally this is the only positive thing I can say. It is missing so many basic functions it’s almost funny. You cannot tap the screen to pause, you have to hit the bottom corner. You cannot fast forward or rewind any other way that to inaccurately drag the bar (which may make your iPhone think you want to change apps, which might be the correct decision). It doesn’t save what episode your watching or at what point of the episode you are on if you close it. This app makes me appreciate the little things in other apps in ways I cannot even describe. If you are a fan of any of the shows exclusive in this app, I wish you the best.

  • Less than one star

    Horrible app less than one star if it was possible, you cannot continue watching from where you left off, if you want to use another device it does not tell you where you left off, no fast forwarding, the subtitles are backwards. It makes no sense to have good anime only available here but not take care of your app. As soon as i finish watching the final 2 episodes i have left. One less subscriber here.

  • Subtitle Issue

    - the subtitle default should be english by default (or give us our region language by asking the region question when we start a season) -English Caps dont work at all, it takes the subtitles away completely - the subtitles to my eyes arent visible enough in certain scenes and I would wrather not have to put on my glasses just to read them NOTE :: crunchyroll's newest subtitle size is suffichent, (so just bolden the subtitles more) CONTEXT Im currently only watching Hiidive on my new xbox and NOT on my phone so this is where my issues are coming from

    I enjoyed my first month with this platform , but the second month of I re-subscribed , I could no longer enjoy content on HIDIVE, every time I went to watch an episode , a pop would tell me to subscribe to watch the content , when I was already subscribed ?? I checked my subscription and it was still active for another 27 days, I checked my bank account and the money had come out for the subscription. I checked the FAQ but there wasn’t much help on this issue. I uninstalled and re installed and paid for another month and that didn’t fix the issue either. I’ve emailed the HIDIVE help wondering if I’ll ever be able to watch on here again, this is the first time I’ve had to deal with stuff like this for a streaming platform , it seems like too much effort just to watch a few shows..
