  • Terrible

    Videos take forever to load, if they load at all. I end up counting to myself waiting for the videos to load and then skipping ahead after 3 minutes. The auto play option works about half the time and I end up manually hitting play or skipping ahead (see above). Payment options are non-existent. Email support and pay by PayPal. Is that really where we’re at with technology these days? In general, I end up having to handle my phone way too much and it’s disrupting to my flow and what should be a relaxed time. Instead, I’m busy counting to myself and being irritated the whole time that I paid for something that doesn’t work.

    The app itself is clean, pretty easy to use. I hoped it would be better (in substance) than the thousands of “professional” videos on the web. It’s not. In fact it might be worse. The goal was to improve overhead/shoulder mobility plus general mobility. Some of the positions were absolutely impossible to get into, other positions did not seem to do anything. (Child’s pose? That’s your helpful advice??). Did this program for 30 days even though some of the stretches seemed useless just to see what happens. Nothing. That’s what happens. The app pretends to be personalized but it’s no better than any other program you can look up on YouTube. Avoid.

    I finally had to give up on it, the app just never works. It doesn’t matter if you’re on WiFi at home or LTE the thing just stays frozen with a wheel of death. Your 8 or 15 min session turns into an 20+ mins waiting for it to load, and any tinkering with it makes it worse. I switched back to ROMWOD

    So easy to follow and so easy to make time for. Sometimes I have 8min, sometimes I have 30. This allows me to stay consistent with my mobility even if some days is the bare minimum. I appreciate all the little details from the timer, the tracker, the the identified muscle groups, the post wod option to tie directly in from your pre-wod mobility. Best mobility app out there.

    Love this app overall and I’m really glad you added challenges as it helps promote consistency, or at the very least getting a certain amount of mobility work in. Perhaps other users dictated the change, but I much preferred the smaller, segmented picker for selecting time when going to a specific movement/stretch in library. I would LOVE if you could move the Favorites scrollview to another spot. Perhaps, to the right of “Protocols” and “Library” in that segmented picker? Then allow a similar list view as is shown in the exercise list with the smaller pictures. Having more than a few favorites is maybe not the intent, but even like 10 can feel quite cumbersome to scroll across to get to one at the end of the line.

  • Can’t get premium

    Everytime I try to sign up for premium it goes to a black screen and crashes the app… I’ve tried on iPad and iPhone. Nothing works.
  • Helpful at first

    I dedicated 22 minutes a day starting on January 1 to improve my mobility. Within the first 4 months I saw great improvement. I retested each month and followed the program to a T. The last 4 months has been regression. I attribute this to the stretches not changing all year. It feels like I’ve done the Sampson stretch everyday. Recently they boasted a rewrite of the app to include 60 new exercises, but I’ve never seen them. My program still is the exact same stretches every single day. Looks like I’m going back to romwod.
