  • Used to be good but not anymore.

    Recent changes to the app have rendered it nearly unusable. Its updates fail after a few days of reinstalling it (per its own instructions) and requires yet another deletion, phone restart and new download. It also fails to identify scam calls until after they’ve been answered (you see the notification in recent calls), I have cancelled my subscription and will attempt to use it until it expires.

    I thought I was signing up for a 14 day free trial so I could see if this app was what I wanted. Nope. They quickly billed me for a yearly subscription. I’m so aggravated that I haven’t even opened the app on my phone. Never again.

    Good tool but too many calls still ring through. Most are identified as “unknown caller”. Some “Robo caller” and some “Telamarketing”.

    Wish this app would automatically update its list rather then ask me each time to do it which is the whole point of the app in the first place.

    Have used this app for a few years with decent results. But ever since the “max version” became available as a different more expensive app this one has become very buggy with the “ failed refresh/delete and reinstall app” error occurring every other day now. I don’t want to switch to the more expensive max version because it requires using Nomorobo’s voicemail instead of the one from your cell phone carrier. I am paying a monthly subscription for this version and it has become unusable. This is unacceptable. I shouldn’t have to delete and reinstall the app every other day because it fails to refresh. This has been going on for the better part of a year. Are you trying to push subscribers to switch to Max by abandoning all support for this app yet still collecting a monthly subscription. Either fix it or retire it.

    I just installed it and the annoying calls have not stopped! I’m thinking this app is a scam!!!! I am going to ask for a refund. Don’t waste your time or money with this app!!!!!

  • NOMOROBO has developed problems

    I’ve been using Nomorobo on my iPhone for several years, and have generally been very happy with it. However, over the last few weeks it has developed a problem — it will not update, and when I tell it to update, I get a popup that tells me there’s already an update in progress, which is not accurate. It also says that if this problem persists the remedy is to uninstall the app and reinstall it, which does work. However, I have had to do it about a dozen times over the last few weeks. EXTREMELY ANNOYING! This problem needs to be fixed!
