Some of the news has already been reported elsewhere or is weeks old and some of it seems like clickbait but most of it is relevant, regardless. Not much political slant altbough I can read past the propaganda when it appears anyway.

I constantly see topics I’m not interested in at all, and the report, see less of, and block options seem to do nothing to tailor my feed to topics I enjoy. If I hit “see less of” on a article about transgender parenting tips, or opinion pieces quoting Whoopi Goldberg, or Olivia Dunns new onlyfans, it asks if I’d like to see less of Trump, Politics, and the NCAA. The options are inaccurate to the topic of the article pretty much every time. Leaving no option but to block the source but then I’ll see the same article again in different words from a different source.

In that context since you can customize the tabs it would make sense to revert to the last tab that you used

Always up to date

Every article on this app is all click bait. Misleading headlines and false information. There are tons of articles from unknown sources that clutter up your feed and you can’t stop them from appearing. The algorithms are impossible to avoid. I signed up to see local news and I get very little information about events that interest me. The fear mongering news is all you see. Tired of seeing Covid stories and other fake news. Do better

Sooo many times it alerts me with a crazy headline and I click it and it crashes and I never see the article. Or it goes to the app and the story doesn’t come up and the alert disappears cuz I clicked it meaning I will never see that article. Ads are annoying. They tried to add a “tik tok” section which I DO NOT get at all. The breaking alert news stories sometimes leave out crucial info and when you read the article it’s WAY longer than it should be. It’s so annoying when I’m busy and I wanna find out something simple from the headline. Example: headline: “this major store is going out of business” article: “ stores are fun to go to. You get to go to clothes stores, food stores, and even jewelry stores. Malls are fun to go to too. Sometimes you can buy ice cream. Sometimes prices are good. Sometimes not so much… “ etc, you get the point. And some of these “breaking alerts” aren’t really important at all. It’s been fun news break. But I’m done. Bye bye.

I find this app vary usefully and cool to look at, could use a few updates but overall it’s a good app to get

It’s ok. Maps don’t update often, and it’ll still send notifications of things you’ve already turned off. Also, it’s racist central here. I’ll stick to something like ground news
