    The old anime theme of the characters was cute. The new character design overhaul is such a downgrade, also a lot of the previous clothes simply don’t fit the new character model. The tights my character had on now are all patchy and weird looking because it doesn’t seem like niantic double checked that the proportions of the new model would work with all of the old clothes. Super disappointing. Also should mention that the OG team Rocket (Jessie) outfit I spent REAL money on is completely gone. Idk that alone is pretty scummy and makes me feel like I cant trust Niantic and their game anymore. Really unfortunate cause I’ve been playing it since 2016…

    Just straight up bad. Fix the “woke agenda” avatars and give the players what they actually want with the ability to customize their characters. The girls should be able to look feminine. Men should be able to look masculine. If you’re a new player or looking to get into the game, hold off until they show that they can listen to the community.

    Male and female avatars look like amorphous, sexless blobs. Clothes don’t fit the mesh of the new bodies in the slightest. Skin colors look dull and sickly. I can’t stand to look at my character anymore. Blegh. Uninstalling.

    I not sure why the update downgraded the graphics and gameplay. It so worst that it’s unplayable and the characters look hideous. Update: gwwaaaahh!!!! What with the messed up picture I am seeing?!? I never thought Pokemon who don’t want to show sexual stuff, added in the game, but horrendous to everyone’s eye. And not the good way. So Pokemon allowing “this” sexual stuff and everything not okay?!? Seriously what the h***????

    I really enjoy this game and it can be super fun. I’d say it’s biggest downfall is the gym systems. The only free way to get coins that I am aware of is to put your Pokémon in a gym and for it to be defeated. But even then there’s a catch and you can only get 50 coins a day. And I’m not saying that if your Pokémon is strong enough to keep the gym you get 50 coins a day from that. No you don’t get anything while they’re in the gym beside better spins at the shop which really isn’t worth much. You only get 50 coins once they’re defeated and if you have two Pokémon defeated on the same day, tough luck, you still only get 50 coins. So what’s the point of even fighting for multiple gyms? There isn’t one. You need the coins to make more space in your Pokédex. I stopped playing for a while and was hoping to get back into it but the cap on 50 coins a day kind of ruins it for me. You can buy coins which is probably what they really want you do but I don’t have money for that. My Pokédex is full and it’s honestly too difficult to keep expanding as the gyms around me are hardly attacked anymore and I have no intentions on buying coins. So I’m probably just going to give up on the game. It’s really sad honestly and probably why the games going downhill.

    I have been an active player since 2016. This horrible update to the avatars is very distracting from the gameplay. The outfits in the game that players have purchased before the update now look completely different on the new models. I’m not making any purchases in this game ever again.
