Recenlty ive been getting bored of my IPAD, using adapters and having one port, smaller screen, and in reality even more weight then a macbook air once you added the magic keyboard. I was extrememly happy to see that LumaFusion was finally on here and although i have yet to use on the macbook i just bought i cant wait to do so. If the Experience is anything like the app on the IPAD i would say easily 10/10.

Recorded video in iPhone 15 Pro Max ProRes 422 HQ, Edited on iPad Pro M2. Final project 20sec video. I cannot tell you how many times i had to restart the App. Audio will stop playing, after playing video Timeline will scroll but video frozen. only restart fixed the issues. I though iOS version was high quality app and Android version was buggy, i was so wrong. I’m borderline just using DaVinci Resolve, I paid twice for this app iOS and Android. My expectations were much higher.

  • Still waiting for the ability to choose audio bitrate

Update: It’s well into 2024 and we are still limited to crappy, highly compressed audio for exports (again, allowing the sampling rate to be changed is next to useless, bitrate is what matters). How hard can this be? Why is everyone who uses this app seemingly ok with subpar audio output? It’s not remotely sufficient for even semi-professional work. ——————————— Why is it so hard to get this functionality? I am using an obscure, free no-name app to convert video (while easily choosing custom audio bitrate) on my iPad, why can’t you guys implement this? It seems absurd to me that maybe the biggest name in iOS video editing sticks you with only one (highly-compressed, low quality) choice of bitrate for audio. They inexplicably allow choice of sampling rate which is not useful at all.

Love this app been using now for two year to create and now monetize on my YouTube channel. Worked really good when i was starting off but i have noticed now with larger projects and more content saved to app it does lag a lot.

Even a 60-year old lady like me can figure it out an have fun creating travel videos! I don’t think I’ve tapped into the application’s full potential, but I use what works for me!

  • Best NLE on the App Store!

I’ve used and loved this app for years. It is a desktop class NLE for your phone and iPad! They’re always adding in new video export options/features as soon as Apple adds the capabilities for the iPhone like HDR videos. I like being able to edit in HDR Color spaces and upload straight to YouTube in HDR, this app automatically adds the HDR meta data for you! Same with 360 video, upon exporting you have the option to export with the 360 meta data just by selecting the option and then it’s ready to upload to YouTube and works in 360 while playing back on YouTube later. HDR and 360 videos are very difficult for edit and deliver to YouTube for the average user on desktop software. it always amazes me how this mobile video editing software can beat out desktop software for the average user. As a wishlist feature I would like to be able to edit and export spatial video but I’m 100% sure the luma team is already working on that.
