I use it every day & generally its ease-of-use is exceptionally good. It is clearly best-in-class for what it purports to do. However the Tags are still very kludgy to use efficiently IMO.

please fix this... everytime i edited one entry, the app just quitted

My most used app for over a decade now. I've appreciated its thoughtful development, including after it was aquired by Automattic. But there is a lot of new competition coming up and I hope that it can keep pace with Notion's integration of embeds (beyond Spotify and YouTube) and AI so that I stick with it.

This is the app that (finally) help me groove a daily journaling practice. That practice has made my life better in multiple surprising ways. Beautifully designed, never crashes, full of great features. It's literally a joy to use.

This is by far the best journal I have ever used! And I have worked as a senior editor at a publishing company, so I'm kinda picky.

Nothing special but it does the trick. Get your thoughts in writing. That's what matters.

I love it because there are templates. There also is an icon at the top that you just press to make a new entrie. DayOne is the perfect app for almost anyone.

I have used a lot of journal programs in the past but I believe this program to be the best I've ever come across. The easy function and smooth layout combine to make the journaling experience both funcitonal and pleasurable. I recommend this program to all of my Apple user friends.

I used this app for over 11 years. All was good. Then somehow lost 10 years of entries after an update. Their support was very helpful, reponsive and did provide a few soutions which unfortunately did not work. What I should have done is back up (the auto back up files on my computer were old) or export the data to pdf or text files on a regular basis.

I've used Day One since 2015, and I've absolutely loved it. I love being able to add tags to my journal entries and then look at a calendar view with the days I used a certain tag. I love being able to search through all my journal entries. I love being able to add photos and media, and I especially love seeing the calendar view with a picture from each day, so I can just skim through and remember each month in just a moment. There is so much more that I love about Day One, and I would 100% reccomend it to anyone looking to improve their journaling experience.
