Usable fom mac, to phone to tablet and seemless. Has a night mode which is even better. There are some views which I don't generally like but that is personal preference. Works like a charm.

I've been using this app since 2015 and it's been really great. It's highly suggested to journal in genearl but this is by far my favorite app to do so.
  • Absolutely Love it.....Still!

I'm very happy with this journaling app. It does everything I want it to do and more! I've been using it for several months now and i'm still learning about all of the features. Tech support is fantastic. Every time I have submitted a question they have responded back within a couple of hours with very detailed instructions.
  • It works as long as I'm stick with the app

I downloaded the app recently to both my phone and MBA. for the desktop app, it easily becomes stuck with death by beachball if i switch the app out or wipe to a different screenfor something else. it also gives death by beachball when i switch between different input sources (languages). it can take up to as long as 5 minutes and i had to kill it by force quitting. i also had some problem syncing between phone and desktop version. and it somehow created a temporary journal to hold empty entries. i manually deleted it once things got synced. besides, these issues that i experienced so far which discourage me to use it a little bit, the app is fine. i rarely use any other function than just journaling.
  • I love it.

Day one takes journaling to the next level. I used to try journaling with the traditional paper and pen, but it's hard to sort through all the different day to day thoughts. Sometimes, I want to journal about life lessons, sometimes just about my day.. and sometimes about gratitude. It's hard to flip back and forth and figure out what's what. I LOVEEE how Day One allows you to use tags/hashtag labels to quick sort. You can search and find a particular entry so easily, it's so much easier for reflection. Thanks Day One Team. Kudos
  • An Amazing Journaling Tool

    By scan freak
I'm a long time journaler- and have gone back and forth between paper journals and computer entries for decades. Day One is, by far, my favorite journaling tool I've ever used. I love the fact that I can do my entries both from my laptop as well as from my phone if I'm traveling or just out and about. I love the photo upload funcions, the date stamp functions- which in turn comes with a "this day" a year ago referencing. Whomever designed this application is obviously someone who journals themselves. Well done.
  • The Best

    By Erphed
I have a long history of looking for and downloading and trying something new in search of something better. No matter how many apps I try, there is nothing that is comperable to DayOne. It's the best as far as organizing, syncing between devices, book printing, and recording background info, like history location/geo-locating and weather.
  • The Best App I've Ever Had

I got Day One as a birthday present to myself 5 years ago. At the time, I was not doing too well, and wanted to track my progress towards wellness. Day One has truly given me appreciation for my progress. It's so clear that I've come such a long way, and I simply wouldn't have seen it without the tools Day One provides to both reflect on the past and move forward into the future. I can't recommend it highly enough. For both journal lovers and those who can hardly bring themselves to write a sentence in a journal, I think Day One may be a fit for you!
  • Life changing

I've been using Day One for several years now. I don't know what I'd do without it. Sometimes I journal. I have other journals for tracking food, doing writing exercises, making notes for songs, etc. The fact that it syncs across all my devices is what makes it so essential.
