I’ve been using this app for the past 2 years & it’s the only way I’ve been able to journal daily. I like how random the reminders are & the ability to add pictures to my day. Personally I haven’t used the prompt option cause I prefer to write what I have on my mind. I love this app. 💜

There are a number of apps that are only available on Apple. The Drafts app is essential. Day One is essential. The Pro is well worth the yearly subscription fee. New update list a bunch of my entries from last year!!!!! Help!!

Love how it hides posts until you click on the unhindered symbol. Adding photos is awesome. I often find myself taking more photos so I can use them in here. The encryption seems on point! Privacy with journaling is HUGE for most. I never even liked writing on Pages or Word before because I just feared it would be seen by the wrong eyes. Read a lot from all journaling companies, this seems like the best. Love the passcode necessity too, because I have this on all of my Apple devices. I have yet to do audio or video journaling, but I feel like I might start because of this app. There’s more that I like about it, maybe I’ll add later. DON’T FORGET TO USE THE WIDGETS.

If you can send daily reminders why not link that reminder to the prompt and journal? Seems disconnected.

I quite enjoy Day One. I’ve been using it daily, across multiple journals for 6 months now. It’s helped relieve a lot of stress and has been a great place to keep track of and workshop ideas. The only thing I’d change is making the music you choose to add to each entry more visible on the general post. Adding it to the bottom of the post where you see time, location, temp, and journal name, or even at the top under the post name. Not a major change by any means, I’d personally just like the song added to be more visible. Other than that, no notes! Great app.

I love this app! I have the free version and it has everything you need. I love the reminder, that you can add pictures and location, and the daily prompt. I highly recommend this app, it keeps me motivated to write in my journal far more than physically writing in a book.

An app I use quite literally everyday. Each feature that it comes with in both the free and premium versions make it easy to be consistent with journaling and personalize your written experiences more. If you’re looking for a good journaling app, Day One is most definitely a great choice.

For the first time in my life, I’ve actually been journaling consistently. I’m at a 180 day streak which is great for me. I love how I can always change the date and add old entries. I love everything about it and I’m glad I got premium. I love that I can create tags, that It shows the temperature and moon phase of that day. Some things I want the devs to add it the feature to add moods/sentiments to journal entries. Also, more formatting options such as font, color, and heading block style texts. Maybe add options for stickers
