  • Terrible

    By anfucnevwj
Convenient I’m not allowed to sign up to cancel my subscription because my login will not work on there website but it’s the same login for the app that is working? I should have listened to the reviews, cancel my subscription or I will have to report to credit card company
  • Horrible customer service

    By T0E KNEE
I’m trying to manage my subscription and it takes me like an hour with support to figure it out. The website is not helpful and the support less so. It should not be this hard to manage my subscription. I will never use a nuance product again.
  • Pretty Good

This app is very adept at voice to text, but it’s buggy; it often jumps to a paragraph other than the one you’re working in — and adds your dictation where you don’t want it. Then you have to cut and paste those lines to the proper place in your document. Were it not for this, I’d give it 5 stars.
  • Latest version has bugs

    By Jadwin
The new version doesn’t format the keyboard right when you send a document or attachment by Outlook. The keyboard is scrunched, and data fields are blocked. Also, you still can’t send a document on iPhone w/0 rotating screen to portrait mode. Otherwise, the send arrow is hidden.
  • Astonishingly disappointing

    By Rabertron
I was actually astonished at how bad this app was. It has such a great reputation, maybe that’s just for the desktop version? I tried using this for a writing project on an iPhone 11 in American English. It was slow, rarely understood my speech when a common proper name happened to be included, the command functions worked maybe one time out of seven, and I spent most of my time typing and arguing with it. For comparison, I’m using the native voice to text feature on my phone to write this and it’s going significantly better. If you are a writer who is curious about Dragon due to the hype, the app that is simply called Dictate works much better, is very cheap, and is a slight improvement over native Apple dictation function. As for dragon, I can’t understand where this great reputation comes from. This app does nothing that it says it does. Would absolutely not recommend.
  • New user, not renewing

    By DonnaSueR
I won’t subscribe unless/until the bug with Dropbox is fixed. It expires every 4 hours. It’s a pain to unlink and re-link it. Also, there’s no syncing between my iPhone and iPad. It’s the same account.
  • Help

    By nic0426
I think I paid for this app in full and should use the trial. I tried to speak a few times and it did not go well. I'm willing to give it a week if I can get my money back.
  • Disappointed

    By Korloneous
Was really hoping this would help me transcribe my professors lectures for school. I was using dictation on Microsoft word but it was sometimes a little off even though it did capture almost everything. Dragon didn’t even seem to capture anything at all. It constantly turned off and even if the mic icon stayed green it didn’t dictate anything at all. So disappointed.
  • Major Evolutionary Glitches…

    By The Adjunct
Update: Dragon still hasn’t fixed the “tab” bug!!!!!! Come on people this is basic UX… “Tab” is one of the command words, used to indent. When I say “tab, the program spells the word TAB. Language recognition 101: Bracket your meaning. Dragon, I’m a writer, hire me parenthesis I’m broke parenthesis. (Using “parentheses” above as an example of the software’s lack of adaptive language recognition.) —Miles Strucker Update/response to owner response: can reconfirm that saying “tab” spells tab, rather than creating an indent on a regular basis.
  • Problems tapping menu

    By djeeer
Not sure what has happened to the software since May, but now on my iPhone, when I tap the menu on the top left, the menu does not show up, many of the buttons disappear and the text makes an odd shift to the right. It all works ok in landscape though. I’ve updated software, deleted and reinstalled, etc. but there seems to be a glitch now. Not recommend until this glitch is fixed. I’ve used this app for over 6 years daily.
