  • Dragon can’t tell time

    By DollarBill_
Suddenly all past Dragon documents have the same, recent, Date and Time stamp, even those not opened in a long time. I need to sort the documents list by date and time, and now I can’t. This is unaccepatable.
  • Terrible

    By SM00000001
And when you click subscribe to create your one week trial, you can’t login. I’ve already changed my password twice successfully and it just says you can’t login.
  • Use Siri instead.

    By Snarkface
I’ve used a few versions of dragon and this was pretty bad. Didn’t recognize common words and did poorly with medical jargon. Siri does a better job for sure. There is also not a good way to get the text onto a PC from the phone (contrast with nuance power mic) I had a hard time pairing with Evernote and when I did finally get it to work it was awkward and slow to update dictations. Deleted the app before free subscription was up.
  • App Unusable in Version:

    By Waiting for Progress
Good as Dragon's speech recognition is (and I have been a loyal user of their products for over a decade on Macs and PCs), as of February 2023 this app is completely unusable. The screen does not render correctly while the microphone is active. Consequently, you are unable to see any of the text that you are dictating and the editing commands are completely useless. This problem is caused by the positioning of the microphone bar. For reasons passing understanding, Dragon has been unable for months to fix this problem, which seemingly is controlled by a single number in a single line of the software code. The app in its current incarnation appears to be a derelict ghost ship without development support.
  • Doesn’t work well, and very expensive

    By BernhardT94
Unfortunately not good at picking up speech And also very expensive for what it does. Also it’s a pain to try and get your document i er to another device. You have to go through Evernote or whatever… and even that doesn’t work properly Don’t recommend.
  • Terrible

    By anfucnevwj
Convenient I’m not allowed to sign up to cancel my subscription because my login will not work on there website but it’s the same login for the app that is working? I should have listened to the reviews, cancel my subscription or I will have to report to credit card company
  • Horrible customer service

    By T0E KNEE
I’m trying to manage my subscription and it takes me like an hour with support to figure it out. The website is not helpful and the support less so. It should not be this hard to manage my subscription. I will never use a nuance product again.
  • Pretty Good

    By nonexxyyxxyy
This app is very adept at voice to text, but it’s buggy; it often jumps to a paragraph other than the one you’re working in — and adds your dictation where you don’t want it. Then you have to cut and paste those lines to the proper place in your document. Were it not for this, I’d give it 5 stars.
  • Latest version has bugs

    By Jadwin
The new version doesn’t format the keyboard right when you send a document or attachment by Outlook. The keyboard is scrunched, and data fields are blocked. Also, you still can’t send a document on iPhone w/0 rotating screen to portrait mode. Otherwise, the send arrow is hidden.
  • Astonishingly disappointing

    By Rabertron
I was actually astonished at how bad this app was. It has such a great reputation, maybe that’s just for the desktop version? I tried using this for a writing project on an iPhone 11 in American English. It was slow, rarely understood my speech when a common proper name happened to be included, the command functions worked maybe one time out of seven, and I spent most of my time typing and arguing with it. For comparison, I’m using the native voice to text feature on my phone to write this and it’s going significantly better. If you are a writer who is curious about Dragon due to the hype, the app that is simply called Dictate works much better, is very cheap, and is a slight improvement over native Apple dictation function. As for dragon, I can’t understand where this great reputation comes from. This app does nothing that it says it does. Would absolutely not recommend.
