  • Please Fix Constant Loading/Freezing Issue

    This is one of my favorite games but I get so frustrated because every time I click to a different category (tables, sofas, etc…) it constantly attempts to load the options and says I have no connection. I end up having to shut the app down and re-open it again. I have cleared my cache. Please fix this issue, I am having to re-boot the game about 5 times for each design.

    I’ve absolutely LOVED this app in the past. To really enjoy it I’ve spent at least $20 a month designing. I’ve never spent money on an app before. BUT the app is now becoming more and more “expensive “ to participate with earned dollars and diamonds. I’m so bummed, but they are totally ruining it for me.

    I have been using Design Home for about a year now. I really enjoyed it in the beginning. Now it seems like all the designs require so many more items then they asked for in the past. Even more frustrating is that currently there are so many design bubbles to fill that I can not actually see how my design is coming along because these bubbles cover up what I’ve already done.

    I have been playing this game for about 5 years on my iPad. In the beginning I used to have a little bit of trouble getting it to load. I played a lot. Now it’s difficult to get it to load at all. So I can rarely play. It says it’s my internet connection but it’s not. I can play all other games, watch movies, use YouTube and IG just fine. Many times I have a game open and I’m watching a movie. I can close everything out and open this game and nope! Won’t load. It’s been doing this for over a year. I keep hanging on because I have sooooo much money invested in it. When I played daily I purchased daily. So it’s probably a good thing it doesn’t load correctly. Have it 3 stars because I enjoy it but can only play it 9.5 out of 10. Plus, it’s pricey.

    There is nothing fun or creative about this game. Unless you spend a ton of money on the game or through their partners, you don’t get enough diamonds to play. Voting is a joke now. So many players can’t even afford to get furniture or the accessories needed to get a good score. Can’t blame the players because why would they spend $200 a month on virtual art and furniture? May as well buy an NFT. At least you get to keep the NFT, whereas the inventory you buy here is taken away after several uses. Their bundle offers are incessant and just another way for them to generate cash. For each challenge, you need to use their gaudy color scheme and selection of fugly art. Whenever they release a new bundle, you need to buy it as many of their challenges clearly require it. The color scheme or description will match the garbage art and decor they release every week. This game is a creatively stifling, and pay to play is an understatement here. You could buy an actual oil painting once a month instead of spending it on this cash grab of a game.

    Do not make a purchase to get diamonds! You will never get them. I sent multiple emails back and forth with both Tapjoy and the home design app customer service people. Tapjoy must have a bot running their responses because they kept asking for the same information over and over again even though I provided it in every single email. Home design was useless and wouldn’t help. I finally just deleted the app. They wouldn’t honor it because they know it means less diamonds you’ll need to buy.
